Climate Proofing Our Forests From The Ground Up - Webinar

At this webinar, we deep dive together into the story so far of our cutting-edge Spring Plains Watershed Repair Pilot Project that is restoring a forest near Heathcote, on Taungurung Country.

This pilot is a first of its kind in Victoria pilot project that offers a beacon of hope and demonstrates what can be achieved through a strategic combination of ecological interventions. Once spanning more than 3 million hectares in Victoria - less than 1% of Box-Ironbark forests remain undamaged, and these critical habitats urgently require intervention to withstand the challenges of climate change.

The webinar includes a Q&A with our presenters.

Hear from Dr. Chris Pocknee, Biolinks Alliance Ecologist, and Cameron O'Mara, the Project Facilitator, as they share their intimate knowledge and experience delivering the various stages of this pilot, from the 3 year approval process, to the innovative on-ground works, and the current monitoring, as well as the vision for this pilot over the next 10 years.
