Biolinks Planning Funding
Biolinks Alliance has secured funding through the Victorian State Government's Community Skills Development Grant to build member groups' capacity to design local biolinks. A number of key design principles came from the scientist's work presented at the 2017 Linking Landscape Symposium. We will be working with member groups to see how their existing goals and future aspirations might be informed by them. This is the beginning of what the Alliance would like to do much more of - provide technical and scientific expertise to co-develop strategic, practical and large-scale onground projects. We thank the Government for their vision in funding this project - for acknowledging the value there is to had in scientifically skilling-up community conservationists.
