Pollinators play a key role in the function of the ecosystem and they are all too uncommon in this reserve. But what is there can be found using pollinator traps which attract them using colour vibrancy. We will be cataloging each type of pollinator we collect in the hope that we can improve their survival.

This survey involves deploying traps that lure insects with bright colours for collection which we then take to another site to process, catalogue and pin any specimens. This gives us a snapshot of the insect diversity and will allow us to track it over time.
