Volunteering - Spotlighting

Dates: Monthly throughout 2026
Time: Varies with date - see booking links below
Location: Various locations throughout Central Victoria’s Goldfields region.
Equipment: Spotlight or good quality head torch, close toed shoes, cold weather clothing, binoculars (optional).
Age restriction: 12+ (anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian).
Maximum number of volunteers: 10

These surveys will take place after dark and involve walking slowly and quietly along transects (tracks) taking care to observe all parts of the canopy for eyeshine or movement. Group sizes and ages will be limited for this activity.
