Wombat Forestcare is a community group dedicated to protecting and enhancing the natural ecosystems of the Wombat Forest and surrounding areas.

We rely on volunteers to co-ordinate  and participate in our projects.

Motion-sensing Camera Projects have established new records for Brush-tailed Phascogales, Eastern Pygmy Possums and Spotted Quail-thrushes.

The Spotlighting Project has recorded nearly 300 new sightings of Greater Gliders

The Owl Project has documented four Powerful Owl breeding sites and one Barking Owl breeding site.
