Protecting Greater Glider populations in the Tallarook Forest

Working with our Network Members as part of our Glideways in Central Victoria initiative

We are partnering with BEAM Mitchell Environment Group on the Murchison Gap Greater Glider Biolink Project, part of our collaborative Glideways in Central Victoria initiative.

This project aims to re-connect the significant Greater Glider population in the Tallarook Forest with the small population in the Mount Disappointment Forest to allow these animals to disperse and safeguard their persistence into the future.

This work is supported by the Capricorn Foundation and the Ian Potter Foundation.

Stay tuned for opportunities to get involved with this project by joining upcoming nocturnal glider surveys!
